Good luck and you may have an adventure (hopefully, nothing more) ahead of you trying to get home.

Well I may have stayed a little too long as when I left at 2 the visibility was at 0. It took me about an hour to go 2 miles as I couldn’t see a thing and and was quite lost as my old tracks had a foot of new snow on top. Luckily I took a spare battery for my phone cause it died several times but I could run gps to get me back to the marina. BUT best part of my story, I always leave a pole in the water while I pack up so I still can catch just one last fish!! Well turns out my last fish of the day was my new personal record!! It took me 15 minutes to pull in the 26” cutty!! I was in heaven once I iced that puppy it was UNREAL!!! What a day... ended with a full limit and I caught close to 25

Congrats on a new personal best and making it out alive. I headed entirely the wrong direction (fortunately, for just a short distance), once at Strawberry, in a white out.

Yeah that place is scary at times but I did get this beautiful shit this morning!! Also forgot to mention after I was lost for an hour when I did make it to the marina I had to pull a 2 seater side by side up the ramp with my sled

Congrats on that nice fish. Since you kept it, did you check what was in that fat belly?

Him no, I didn’t actually, I wrapped him up whole and threw him in the deep freeze!! Gotta try and revive him in case I need to win a ice tournament on the fly! Haha

Congrats on that hog and making it out alive! Always nice to cap off a day with a last fish like that. How much snow do you think came down while you were there?

Oh man it was a hell of a day!! But I went out there on a foot of snow and slush and by the time I left there was easily another 10”-12” on top that was fresh.

Oh absolutely!! Would’ve made for great TV had a crew been there filming! But overall it was all part of the experience!!
