Provo Harbor open water
#1
Just checked the camera at Provo and it looks like (lens has raindrops on it) there is open water up to the middle ramp on the north side of the harbor. Could still ice fish off some docks, but it will be over very soon.

The older I get the more I would rather be considered a good man than a good fisherman.

11:30 update: The open water now extends to the first ramp. The only ice left is around the docks that extend out from the east side. Probably no ice that you can reach off the docks.

I love that camera so much, especially since I don't have a window that faces west to see the storms headed toward us. I see a couple anglers off the first ramp now. Looks like all the ice is gone too. I guess I'd better go confirm that since it takes less than 3 minutes to get there. All I gotta do is convince the girlfriend that I'm only going to take a peek. No fishing this time, I swear.

Someone just launched in the rain/snow. I'd better go keep an eye on them for uh...safety reasons. Back later.[Tongue]

There's maybe 5 others fishing the north end. I decided to pull out the girlfriends white skunk rod in hopes of breaking the curse it has on it. Whenever it's in use, we don't catch anything. I think it just needs to land one fish to be useable. Cross your fingers.

Thanks for the info, I will try to get my line wet this weekend if the weather cooperate.
