Took my 10 year old nephew up on his 2nd ever fishing trip, when he got here last night and he asked when we were getting up the 3am comment made his eyes as big as saucers, but when I woke him up he jumped right up and ready to go. Got the the marina around 6:30 with clear skies ( could see some fog in the narrows) and 38 degrees ( didn’t feel that cool), launched and ran across to the east side where LKPerch and I fished. Surface temp was 64 when we started and almost 68 when we pulled out. Action was pretty consistent on the cuts with some nice kokes in the mix. Aiden’s 1st koke was 2.4lbs and his last 2.5 so he was pretty excited. Finished with limits of kokes by 10:40. 53 degree water was at 38’ and 35-39’ OTW was our best depth until around 9 when we dropped down to 42-48’ OTW. Orange mini Mag hoochies 9” leader behind a Paulina Peak orange crush sling blade were the top producers, but purple hoochies, UV, gold and watermelon apex’s also produced. Saw Bduck and his friend Dallas out there also, great seeing you again Roger
