first time on the strawberry side this year today

stopped fishing at 10:30 AM covered a lot of water did not catch a Kokanee went into  where all the boats were fishing. don't  think they 
new what they were doing either,  so got  away from them.

but we did catch a lot of fish. bows and cuts were good fighters so It was a OK day. we did not take one fish home so that was good 

did not see any schools of fish had my Humminbird 360 going that will show schools of fish real good 

it is hard to know where to put the downrigger ball. fish are all over best was 16 ft. fish down 50 60 feet we could not get them to bite

Thanks, Robert, that answers my question on my previous thread.  If you can't find them with your sonars,y old 2D standard sonar won't either.  You just saved me over $25 plus at least an hour, more like an hour and a half

Bummer the kokes are not showing up much this year, as you were saying in another post, hopefully things will improve when the temps get warmer and the thermocline becomes more consistent.
