Jordanelle 9/5
#1
My daughter and I fished Jordanelle this past Thursday. Tried trolling for Kokes for a while with no results. We were not seeing much on sonar either. Decided to fish for bass and the action was pretty much nonstop. Never did keep count but it was quite a few. Most were all small (8 - 9  inches)with an occasional larger one. I think people, including myself, need to start keeping the small ones and thin them out.

Going to hit Strawberry this coming Tuesday.

Just got back from Jordy myself.  Buddy & I fished from 7-11:30, mostly in the river arm.  Water 67.  Could not boat a smallie over 11" to save our lives, our worst bass outing of the year.  But we did get into our best ever bag of jumbo perch up there.  The biggest went 11 1/2".  Best bait was a 4" single-tail grub on a darter head that got de-tailed after a good bite. We call it a poor-man's Ned. Tons of tuna boats making D-Day waves.  Gonna try Echo this Wed.

We fished the 'Arm' too using tube jigs tipped with a worm. Maybe see you at Rockport or Echo this fall. I like fishing both of those reservoirs. I usually pick up a few nice sized 'Bows' at Echo along with perch. Mainly fish for perch at Rockport.

If you've been to Echo lately how is the ramp. I'm assuming that since they recently extended the length that it should be okay. I read, maybe it was your post, that the ramp at Rockport is getting close to running out of cement.

I recently sold my Bass Tracker and bought MilDog's older boat when he bought his new one. So, my trip to Jordanelle was mostly trying to get used to the boat.
