Now all we have to do is wait for the water temp to go up and hit it for some wipers.

"There are two submerged islands just right off of the channel here. If you stay straight for at least two hundred yards and don't veer off to the left or right because those two islands, they are bad," said Curtis Seward of Ogden.

Can we believe this Curtis Seward guy or not? (LOL)

This story will be aired tonight. Doug Miller always has the site updated with the new stories thursday. Kind of stupid if you ask me since they haven't even aired the stories. I'll check the site Friday and see if its actually worth watching or just another used and abused story.

I fished willard three times this week. It was better before this last storm came through, but it will pick up again here next week.

On wednesday we saw dead shad floating on the surface. I wonder it they was one that got loose from a gill net from the DWR earlier that week.

I saw on doug miller the willard stuff. I figure those boys were out there friday morning before the wind got real bad.

Pumping starts april 15 so the lake level is about done going up.

At the last DWR RAC meeting, the report was they expected huge die off, but it looks like the gill bet study showed decent numbers. The question will be with a poor winter, and anouther hot summer on the way, will they survive next year? Only time will tell.

I cant imagine we will be launching boats on willard much past july again this year even with the dredging.

We were out there on Wednesday and Doug was there when we arrived. After we talked for a while he did the interview with me that was on his show tonight. He said the DWR was going to do some gill netting that day but I don't know if they did it that day or not. WH2
