also been wandering about it... good to see im not the only one.....is there still ice on it and can you drive a car to it now....also does anybody know if they still charge to go up there?

Went there on Friday April 2. Ther is no ice at all!!! there is no charge to get in as of or maybe all season long.( hopelfully no charge ever!!!) You can get a car up there, i took mine. You probally can launch a boat there is 6 feet of mud after the boat ramp and before the water. I guse the spring runoff has not come in or something.

We fished for about 2 hours and cought 2 6-8" bows. The wind was blowing real bad, I think that had a lot to do with our sour luck.

If anybody has more questions let me know.
