New trick for an old Pup...
#1
Hey I was watching that In-Fisherman show and they profiled a NEW technique that I'm sure would work great at I-80 Ponds, Pineview, & Pelican.

Here it is in a nutshell.

Take one floating crankbait - minnow style.

Remove the rear treble hook and tie a 8" to 12" piece of leader on the rear.

Attach a sinking fly, popper, etc. to the leader. Cast out and slow retreive.

Use the crankbait as a strike indicator and target those panfish.

It looks deadly... Give me a report - Bluegill/Crappy should eat this up....

I'm assuming that bass would hit the crankbait and that the trailer is for the smaller fish?

Sounds interesting....I'll have to give it a try.
