The Indian left H&M at 8pm friday nite, loaded bait and headed south all nite in rolly seas and 20 kts of wind. We put the jigs in the water at 100 miles and kept fast trolling, at 130 miles the 58 degree water jumped to 59.2. We began to see good signs of life ,lots of bait balls , by the wind sailors (a jelly fish that in the past has inicated early season albacore) and bird life. We fished around 20 kelp paddies to no avail (bummer) We continued to troll all day in the now 25 kt wind and growing seas. It was not our day . So we will try again next weekend with a few more boats.we will keep everyone up to date

fishhead
