Little Dell Report
#1
Got out to the Dell at about 5:30. Paid the dues and drove down to the pond. after about 30 min of trying different areas, found a spot and caught 4 cutts on a gold kastmaster in 30 min. They ranged from 15 to 18" got a pic of the 16" but the wife wasnt around to snap off a shot of the 18". Could of caught more fish I think if the damn park didn't close at 7:00. Not bad for about an hour of fishing. Thanks again for the "top secret" info you Pm'ed me last night Chris [Wink] I won't tell a soul. There were a few cars parked just off the road and the ranger was making a call to the sheriff as we left. Inquired about access to the pond when the gates are closed. She said that there isn't anywhere to legally park and that the parking regulations are going to be enforced from now on. Basically, If the gates aren't open your out of luck and if they are you need to pay 5 bucks for access. Also mentioned that they will only be open on Saturday and Sunday for the next 2 weeks thereafter on a daily basis.

I't's a shame I liked the place but it ain't worth risking a ticket!!!

Just trying to be funny with the top secret stuff, well...wasn't it you who told me to rub the bait under my armpits lol. There really isn't nothing too it it's all about finding the area where the fish are active. That is a big pond I was surprised.
