Premature Anticipation
#1
[#0000a0]Ok Girls, don't get your skirts in a flutter. Yes, the weather has screwed up the fishing, again.[/#0000a0]

[#0000a0] Normally, Ice outs and spawns don't start happening until after may 1st. For example-Strawberry has held ice until the begginging of may about 3 out of 4 years(Scofield melts a little sooner). As for spawns, Deer Creek doesn't usually spawn til right about mid-may. Jordanelle spawns about june 1st and Flaminge Gorge about 15th. [/#0000a0]

[#0000a0] These crazy weather patterns has got us fisherfolk stomping at the bit for some big time action. 80 degree temperatures in april/may and high 70's in march have got us already polishing our fishing poles(please only polish your own gear). The weather cells that have been inconsistant at best are throwing off our timing. Normally we should be doing yardwork(2 four letter words) until just before Memorial day.[/#0000a0]

[#0000a0] So, finish up the yard now(its going to be neglected for the next 6 months) in the next week to ten days the little slimey creatures are going to come strong. [/#0000a0]

The phrase you are thinking about is "chomping at the bit", It's what horsies do.

[#0000a0]The phrase is well known to me. The mixed metaphor was purely intentional[Wink]. You see there are alot of fishermen with sore feet and foaming at the mouth over the weather conditions.[cool][/#0000a0]

Ok thats it! The fishing trip friday is off my man!

No one who uses those two four letter words gets on my boat!

I just got done spraying ortho ground clear on my **** to prevent me from participating in, saying, or doing any **** ####.

Kill it all. Then theres nothing to keep you from fishing.

[cool]I was told I cant tell the difference between a weed, grass or flowers, so I bought a new mower last year. Its produced by Roundup. Later the pavement will be planted. Ha!
