5/22-5/24 Starvation report

Went to starvation this last weekend. Very windy with some sunshine. Fished inbetween windgusts. Picked up some good smallie action near rocky drop off's. Mostly smaller fish around 10-13". One good one that was about 3lbs. Didnt get any eye's. Did see a few caught but we were mainly targeting bass. Between the wind and trying to keep the fiance occupied with events other than fishing, I had a hard time getting too much serious fishing in.[] All in all was a successful trip with fish caught. The eyes I seen caught were off the shore near the eastern end of the lake where a small river comes in. The guys that caught them were at the end of the channel where it empties into the lake. They were using standard chartreuse twister tails with orange jig heads. Tossing them near the mudline where the clear water met it. The fish I seen caught looked to be around 12 inches with a couple that were bigger.
