Made it to the lake at 9am. Water temp was 59. Figured with the water being so cool the muskie would still be in the backs of the bays. After casting for a good 5 hours I figured that was a mistake. The only thing in the bays were carp. Went over to the south fork and decided to try deeper water. That was the right move. Ended up cathing 2 tigers that went 38 and 41. Lost a few more. Noticed smaller tigers hanging on top of the weed beds. The bigger ones seem to be in their summer pattern. Both fish were caught in 12 to 15 feet of water.Try again thursday. The water was 69 degrees lakewide by the time I left at 5:30.

thanks for the report. I'm guiding petty4life and the killerbee thursday in pettys boat .will be up there about 9:30 look for the camo boat stop and say hi. been wanting to meet you.
PS there is a fat 53" out there that I lost a little over a week ago give you a hint of where he is up there if we see you.

I will be up there most likely thursday and friday also. I will be in a army green tracker thursday, and a tan and red fisher on friday. I say hi If I see either of you guys out there.

So, what did you catch them on? Were you fishing deep or on top?

I was fishing in deeper water. Fishing on top produced nothing in the middle of the day. Going to try topwater baits early or late tomorrow. I caught them on crankbaits.

Hey thanks I've never been up there but have been itching to go since I first heard about Pineview and the Tigers about 6 years ago. Still haven't gotten up there though. I live in Orem, and don't have time usually to get out for 15 minutes, let alone half a day or more. Hopefully when my summer class ends I'll be able to make it up there in my tube.
