Honeyville Ponds 6/18 Report
#1
I made it out to Honeyville for the first time this year. There is a lot of moss out there right now and will most likely get worse until Fall. I got out there about 4:30 and used worms tipped with salmon eggs. I aslo caught two with a rooster tail. I was able to land a few with that set-up but then I spoke with some other fishermen who had been using power balls in yellow or orange. They had succes both from the bottom as well as a bobber. I tried it and did fairly well.

Heads up. There are more mosquitos than you can shake a stick at.

In all it was a good evening. The trout were 8 - 13 inches, all bows.
