Decided to take the kids to Tibble last night and give it a try since it was planted last week. Got there around 7:00 the fish rising so we fished close to the surface. By floating salmon eggs about 2' under a bobber. Didn't take long my daughter had her first bite with in 5 min of being in the water. We had a ton of bites but couldn't get hooked up, I personally believe the fish were just nibbling at the bait. My son ended up catching the only fish, his first of the year but in doing so he's made sure we all have at least one trophy for the year.
Side note it was packed by time we got there, and the fish were biting pretty much everything. Had one guy next to use land one with a Jakes lure. The family on the other side of us hooked into one drowning a worm but it spit the hook out about 5' off the bank. Talk to another guy in the parking lot that had done good using green power bait. Even though it was a planter it was still good eating.
