The Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission (ASMFC) and the New
Jersey Department of Environmental Protection's Division of Fish and
Wildlife will host a public meeting regarding the ASMFC's recently
released Draft Amendment 1 to the Interstate Fishery Management Plan for
Inshore Stocks of Winter Flounder. The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m.
on Thursday, July 15 at the Goodwill Hose Company Station, 610 7th
Avenue in Belmar, Monmouth County. Public meetings are also scheduled
for Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut and
New York.
