We fished Echo Saturday and Sunday. We tried the far side past all the campgrounds and got 1 carp. Usually we get alot of Perch over there, not one perch. We then moved over to the rocks on the side below the freeway. Got a few smallies only a couple with any size. Also got a few carp. Had one carp take my power bait, he gave me a good fight, when I threw out a worm nothing no Perch to be had. Used to be you couldn't keep them off your hook.I wonder where they have all gone?

Good report Icefool. To bad you didnt run into a hungry school of perchskins though, their good to munch on when their of any size. How deep were you fishing for them? Did you try a tiny piece of night crawler and drag or hop it along the bottom? Some times nothing works better on those perchies than the old standard.

We were fishing from shore. Yes I did try a litle piece of worm, which usually keeps the perch just a biting. But nothing.
