Interesting article, it sure would be fun to test one of those units out, maybe one of the local sporting goods stores will buy one or more and rent them out. I remember a post sometime back about people that like to listen to different music and some thought it would help catch fish. Sounds like this is a much better idea. WH2

That would be cool to test out especially in some of the lakes that are scarce on fish or the fish are very picky on the bite.

I agree mike, the unit is a little expensive. However, if strikes really are 300-400 percent more likely..[Wink]

COOL ARTICAL. I HAVE FOUND THAT ICE FISHING ON THE BERRY COUNTRY MUSIC WORKS! YES I SAID WORKS! TWICE I PROVED IT WITH FREINDS. THEY THOUGHT I WAS SMOKING SOMETHING UNTIL I THREW THE RAIDIO ON THE ICE SHACK AND THE INDACATORS STARTED BOUNCING. AFTER A FEW FISH I TURNED IT OFF. THE FISH TURNED OFF SHORTLEY AFTER. THEN BACK ON AND THEY STARTED RIGHT BACK UP.COUNTRY FISH COUNTRY MUSIC. CITY FISH MIGHT WANT RAP. LOL DONT KNOW TRY IT AND LET ME KNOW.

I know that the sound of ME fishing makes the fish not want to feed for some reason.

Think of all the nice gear you could buy with the money that thing costs. It just sounds like an acoustic chumming device to me. Trick the fish into thinking nearby there are tons of feeding fish and get them worked into a frenzy.

I could be wrong but I think the fish you catch while playing country music while ice fishing are just trying to either get your attention to shut up the music or are suicidal so they don't have to listen any more.

Just kidding. I am not a hater of country music but it is definitely not my favorite. Now watch all the posts come in about how good country music is. I remember a post from a while ago about people's favorite fishing music. I think it got more attention than any more fishing related posts at that time.

[cool]I don't think too much has happened to "good ole fishin". Do you know anyone that has one of these? I don't. I think good ole fishing is safe for now, particularlly if the price remains as lofty as it is. I do think its an interesting point you make and I agree. Probably heard the same thing from the hand fishermen when the pole was invented.[Wink]
