dorsey reservoir is 20 miles to the north of elko - some decent rainbows in there

10 miles south of elko is southfork reservoir - they have lm and sm bass, trout, and 2 yrs ago they stocked fingerling wipers, they should be catchable now . .

I guess that you have been there and are back by now. I was just going to suggest Lamoille Canyon, if you are into hiking, I belive that are 7 high mountain lakes there full of cutts.

Theres Wildhorse resevour to the north, the Ruby Marshes to the south. Check in and talk to the local sporting goods store for the latest fishing reports and directions. Sorry for being late.

Well thanks for the info, but I lost to much money in Wendover to go to Elko, but one of these times I'm gonna make it a fishing/gambling trip. Probably gonna try a local river in the next few days.
