[cool][blue]First, a big HOWDY and a BFT welcome to ya. We appreciate the input and suggestions. Most of us are always on the lookout for HIGHER, BETTER, FASTER, MORE. And, as you can tell from some of the recent posts, newer and better line is always on everybody's list.[/blue]

Teklon Gold is the very latest generation nylon fishing line exclusively manufactured in Japan.
It is extremely abrasion resistant, exceptionally supple and has no memory.
Its light grey/sandy colour helps to keep visibility to a minimum making it perfect for sand and gravel pits.
An amazing feature of this line is its low diameter, the 6.2kg (13lb) line has a diameter of only 0.22mm.
300m per spool.
This is definitely one of the best fishing lines available today.

[blue]Where do you buy your Teklon? Most of the websites that offer it are in Europe. The pricing seems to be about 12 British Pounds for a 300 yard spool. I could not find it either on Cabelas or Bass Pro Shops websites.[/blue]

[cool][blue]I was hoping to be able to find a domestic source for the stuff, but I would like to try some 4# and 6#, even if I have to go through the top secret channels. Put me down for a 300 m. spool of each.[/blue]

[#0000ff]I am still in Arizona, but will be moved back up to Salt Lake by the end of July. If you can hold it for me until then, we will set up a place to exchange line for money.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]The price is definitely high, compared to most of the copolymers and monos available from US manufacturers. However, I am a typical fisherman. If something appears to be better, I will "bite" at least once. [/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]That is not true of lures, though. I still do not have any of the famous "Banjo Minnows" in my tackle box. My philosopy has long been that much of the stuff developed for the angling industry is designed more to catch fishermen than to catch fish.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Again, thanks for dropping in and making us aware of this new technology. Maybe you should set up a brokerage. [/#0000ff]
