yep , i watch it , and it paid off .

a weekend ago the church had a garage sale , it's more like a stadium sale if you go by the size of the event . anyway i bought some fishing and camping supplys and then started flipping thru the pictures and paintings , most were prints and stuff . now one was a regular oil painting , signed and dated from the early 40's .

i liked the pic so i bought it for a whole .50 cents .

well later on in the week i looked up the artist name on the puter . hey, hey ,hey , he's a ligit artist , well "was" a lagit artist , gone on to meet his maker close to 50 years ago .

anyway the springfeild (ohio)art musiem's director gave an estimate of the pic's value as $150.00 without being seen . i am e-mailing them a scan of the pic for futher documtation on the artist . if it's worth more that the guess than were gonna send it to the muesiem as a donation . art , like nature belongs to everyone .

man , ya' gotta love that p.b.s. t.v.

Way to go!.. I was one of the people that didnt know they had something of value until I had sold them for 25 cents. Courtesy of the Antique Road Show, I found out they were worth $750.00 each! LOL Live & learn!
