Got a chance to wet a line this afternoon and decide to go to my old haunt to see if I could get into some browns without dodging jet skis and boats . Didn't get there till 2:30pm and on the water by 3 . It has been a while since I pulled the old float tube out but it was just like riding a bike . I still could do it . Yeah ! Hooked up on 5 browns with the fish running from 14" to 20" . Fished tube jigs on bottom and also tried a jigging rapala with success . Thanks to Kent for the idea from his post on Strawberry . All fish were females , couldn't find the males but they are getting fat for the spawn . One of these days I get a big brown out of there . Seen the boats trolling pop gear with success for rainbows .

Hows the water level this time of year? I fished Grantsville earlier this year with some sucess, and have always had fun fishing when short on time.

Deepest water I got over was 32 ft. It is about 1/2 full .
