Chris, pack your tube and take it with you. Just bring a shorty that easy to pack or get a multi-piece stick. Don't give up don't ever give up.

give up....nope just looks like with all the time i'll be spending on the road the next couple of months it will be a little late in the year to do another tubing trip till next year but i'll surly be doing some fishing on my days in town

as far as taking a tube and pole i would love to but i'll be driving team and that means about 20 hours of driving a day between the 2 of us

they also have quamcom which tracks the truck location speed etc. so thats out of the question

[#0000ff]I do agree with your advice. Always carry your gear, 'cause you never know when you will have both the time and the water to go exercise some fishies. I traveled a lot on business over the years and the first thing to go in my vehicle was a couple of rods and a lot of tackle. Had to leave a suitcase out sometimes, but what the heck. Showing up at a business meeting in my fishing clothes at least got their attention. And, I had the chance to try a lot of new waters and catch a lot of different species that I would have always regretted not going after if I had not been prepared.[/#0000ff]

Those driving "Snoops" are a pain in the but. I'm sure there is a site somewhere that has instructions on how to set one up as a fish finder. ha ha.[laugh]

unless there is ice and you can still feel your toes it is never too late to float tube. just where more layers and and a good set of waders and you are still set to go.

[cool]Chris,
Good luck out there on the road, buddy. We'll be thinkin' about ya when we're out there on the ponds. I'm gonna try to organize (or help organize) an early ice fishing BFT party out at Scofield, probably a week after Thanksgiving or so. Stay safe out there on the road!
