Huntington Res
#1
I fished Huntington Res over the Weekend. It was a little slow, but I did catch some nice ones. They say the proof is in the pudding, so here are a couple pictures for the pudding.

I was fishing both Saturday and Monday from about 6:30 - 10AM I caught four Saturday and 2 Monday. The 17 incher was Monday. I was using a float tube and fly rod. 5 of the 6 fish I caught were on a black wooly bugger using a sinking tip line and one was caught with a dry fly.

At least you have an excuse -- you haven't fished for them. I have tried once casting from shore and another time ice fishing and still nada.

I caught my first tiger last winter through the ice at Huntington. I can't wait for ice again! You said that you was using a sink tip line. Have you ever used a full sink line there? I wonder if more fish would be down lower in the lake. I have not had very good success at Strawberry using a sink tip but have done very good with a full fast sink line in summer heat and slow sink in spring and fall.DKS.

DKS, My son-in-law was using a full sink and he got skunked?? Imagine that.

Xman, on my last post I typed in a reply to your message, but for some resone, it didn't show up. Anyway, I was just saying hi to you too. And hi to Kent as well. It has been quite some time since I have posted here. I haven't done much fishing this year, it was good to get out on Huntington. Last night, to be fair, I went with my son-in-law up to Jordanelle, he caught a couple real nice rainbows, I got skunked. I am planning a trip in a couple weeks to the Green, and I am real excited about that.

Hey all, I just added the little fly-fisherman to my signature (again). Last time it didn't work right, but I think I have fixed that problem, please let me know if it is working ok, if not I will remove it. Thanks
