I haven't heard any reports on Lincon beach but I was wondering how the fishing for walleye has been a Deer creek lately. The reports have been few and far between from you, WalleyeBob or Utahwalleye, got any reports you could share? Thanks, WH2

Hey coldfooter, what do you mean, catching walleyes in sept ?? this is one of the best times of the year to get that wall hanger. the walleye go on a feed bindge thats on real.
hey Ken, I was down there last week, no way to launch a boat, but if you have a carry out boat that would work. the water is so low this year out there the marine is about 6in. deep the hot spring has no opening big enough to get a boat out to the lake. the whole beach shore is slime coverd rocks (slippery). A guy from my work caught 3 last week out there. later chuck [signature]

Hey Xxwalleye, whats color jig tail are you using ?? there's really one good color out there this time of year and all the asians know that color.
Hey walleyebob,, don't get mad at me for giving up the color but we need to have some C.P.R. fishermen out there this time of year, the asians keep everything they catch. If I give the color up you have to release all 24in. plus walleyes. why would anyone eat a walleye over 24in. ?? So the color is black and green, shhhhhh, don't tell everyone ok. later chuck [signature]

hmm utwalleye...colors doesnt matter is the late season,,,but i do agree all the asians do use the same color..should i say a gitzit g-tail grub....smoked pepper with a chartreuse tail...or the gitzit g-tail wally world...thats the only colors u will see me using every year...nothing is gonna beat that unless im at another lake[

For the last 2 years color was just about everything out there. one other thing, whats the differance between fall walleye and spring walleye ?? the eggs are already there by Oct. besides the smaller walleye taste so much better. the bigger the fish the more fat in the meat. Why fish ??, hmmmm, for the fun of it of corse.

you better remember only to keep one or you may be singing a different tune without your fishing gear if the fish and game catches you. They don't check anywhere neer enough, but I have seen a couple of guys out there who decided to keep more than one walleye over 20 and they went home with a big fine and minus a whole bunch of gear.

Hey Chuck,
I went down Sunday and checked it out. There is a place to launch our boats. Brad had to strip down and go wading. We found a spot that is pretty easy to drive to and drops off fast enough to launch without getting the truck in the water. I have to hunt little gray birds with red legs on Saturdy. But we will launch blue boat Sunday The place to launch??? Where all the buildings are at the orchards. Straight out from the road that goes up into the orchards. If you launch on the west side of that poit, it drops off fast. Right about where we were fishing that day that Ken was there. Should be about the best place on the lake for you guys in float tubes to launch also. I'd like to see more BFT guys down there this year. Might make the Asians think twice about keeping illegal fish. walleyebob [signature]

You can still launch at willard but the water is very shallow (less than a foot) getting out of the marina. I was out there Sat. afternoon I didn't fish for eyes just trolled for wipers. If it gets much lower I wont even be able to get my flat bottom duck boat out, but that doesn't mean I wont try LOL.
