St. George Area?

I am going down this weekend to the marathon and was wondering if there is any place very near or in town that have carp in them? Or are there any community fisheries in that area. You dont need a license to fish for carp do you?

i believe you need a license to fish no matter what unless its posted other wise but i could be wrong

You can use a bow without a license for carp I think, but you must have a license to fish. There are several fishing ponds at the North West side of St. George. Also Quail Creek Reservoir, if there is any water in it. There is a great fly shop that can give you more info when you get there. Red Rock is the name,I think. Also check at Hurst Sporting Goods located at St. George and Bluff St.
