Fished Payson lake this afternoon in the tube. There was an algal bloom slowing things some, but I still caught about 20. Mostly bows, but a few brookies too. Mostly on small spinners. Now is a great time of year to hit the mid-high elevation smaller lakes for trout.

DGF,
Glad to hear you did good at Payson Lakes. My son and I hit Wallsburg right around 10:00 am, after his overnighter at Provo Canyon, and stayed till 12:00 pm. Numerous bites but only managed to bring in 2 good-sized rainbows, both close to 3 lbs. Slow fishing, but worth getting some football-sized rainbows.
Tight lines,
