Snake River
#1
I fished the Snake last weekend in southeast Idaho. I caught well over 50 bass, a carp, and a 14" perch(it thoght it was a bass). Just about every fish but 4 were caught on Maniaccustomlures stickbaits. I started with the crawfish ones and holographic shad or chub or sucker. I called HuntN4bass about 10am sat to tell him I just caught 12 bass in the last 30 mins. I also told him how I tried to launch the boat with the transom straps still on(never done that before). But, I did mention that I left the front strap off and watched my boat just float there right in front me 20ft off shore.
The killer bait was the Predator 036 in 3 inches. I would dye the tail chart and setup a texas rig, then wammo-fish on.

Water temps were 56-62 degrees. No wind, no rain, and no gozillion perch.
Most of the fish were in the 2lb class, I got a few 3lbers and a 4.

Ahh... the power of the maniac custom lure.

Did they get those maniacs in the orem sportsmans yet?
I know they have a few colors and sizes in the riverdale store.

I was gonna give you some grief about loosing your boat, but I did the same thing to BLM two years ago on bear lake. BLM still wont tell me how he really feels about coming out of the bathroom and seeing his boat floating out to sea with no operator in it.

So, in true tradition, I will give you some grief about how much closer I live to the snake than you. [Tongue]
