Sorry for the break in my reports but many of my contributers of info stoped sending the info to me durring the summer months this year.
You guessed it! they wher out fishing!!!!
As always the fishing does not stop down in PortAransas it just changes what is caught with the seasons.
Reasent info on catches are:
Fishermans Warf is reporting lots of blackfin and yellowfin tuna along with shark, grouper, red snapper, ling and kingfish. Report of a 109lb yellowfin tuna was caught abord the Scat Cat durring a reasent outing.
The North Jetty is producing allot of reds, black drum and Spec trout.
Offshore Adventures reports: Atlantic sharpnose, red and lane snapper, ling and kingfish. In the bays the Reds and Trout are the normal catches.
Dolphan Docks reports a 70lb Wahoo along with limmits on kings and snapper wher the norm on 48hr trips.
Woody's Sports Center is reporting many over-sized reds are caught from the bays and channel. The surf is producing Specs and some Flounder.
