I was there last Saturday, I know that's more than 3-4 days but I doubt there has been anymore snow. There isn't much snow at all, you shouldn't have a problem going where you want unless you drive a Ford.

Thank for the info icthys and Geoff. I had to laugh at the Ford comment. I just found this site and can't believe how great it is. I tried using the Doug Miller site and another one, but never got up to date info. This board has some great info. I will post my trip report when I get back. Thanks

Glad to have you join us! Be sure to also watch the Utah Events and Get Togethers board. There is something going on almost every weekend. In fact a few of us will have our tubes and tunes up to the Berry this Sunday. Al

Alan,
Thanks. I get really tired of trying to find people to go fishing with so I will definitely watch to see if I can join you guys. I am still trying to decide whether to hit Strawberry or East Canyon tomorrow. I live up North so East Canyon is closer, but the big fish are at the berry. Decisions Decisions. At least I won't be at work.

I launched my boat at the Strawberry marina Tuesday [11-2-04].
there were several inches of snow on the banks but no ice. The road to the marina had patches of ice but not a problem. There were 5 trailers in the parking lot. I spent the day at Renegade and it was cold, take your thermals. The fish were not in the shallows but seemed to be out in the 20-25ft water. People were having sucess drifting flys or worms for cuts. I fly fished with type3 full sink line using red crystal killers and buggers most of the day. The fish were not selective, troll or strip, I'm sure anything would have worked.
Have fun.

Out4Trout.
The cuts were all 18-20", and several small rainbows [15-16"] were caught close to the surface. Several weeks ago when the fish were in the shallows they were bigger [20-22"]with the biggest at 24"[6#]. Great time to fish the Berry!
