I can't wait for the hard water. However, we want to make sure we don't get to anxious and venture out in unsafe conditions. There's a saying in ice fishing, "there isn't a fish in the whole lake worth falling through the ice for".. Thanks for sharing the article..

I am really exited about the icefishing but safe ice is very important. I personally rather wait till its safe enough to drive a truck on it before i put one foot on it![sly]

Thats your theory now, it used to be if a big fish didnt break the ice you would be fine, to bad that one didnt hold up.
Thanks for the article, the GF and I are ready for the hard water fishing this year. but i would like the ice to be safe as well, its not worth my life for a fish
