Strawberry/Current Creek
#1
Hey Guys,

I have been out of town so I haven't had a chance to visit the site for a bit or fish. I am heading up fishing on Friday and was wondering if the snow is still too deep to go to strawberry if we are walking? Would it be worth taking snow shoes? Or would it be better to go to Current Creek or Rockport? If we go to Stawberry I was thinking either Chicken Creek East or the Marina. Anyone know how the access is at CC East? I welcome any suggestions. If anyone else is going Friday let me know. I will post my report when I get back.

If you have snow shoes bring them for sure. As far as access I'm not sure, but crews should have everything open by friday, it's been a day or so since any major snow up there and tomorrow and friday look snow free. Rockport doesn't have safe ice on it yet and fishing reports have been good from current creek for smaller fish, I haven't been up there myself yet.

I was up there with the gunmeister before all of this raging snow, and the walking at CCE really sucked! The long walk down to the lake was brutal! The snow was nearly 3 feet deep! I've heard it's like that all over the place. Take snowshoes is you plan on hitting it.
