Lost Creek access?

Taking my eight-year-old grandson fishing tomorrow to either Lost Creek or Strawberry (maybe Rockport, but the ice conditions there have me a little concerned). He is excited about fishing from my ice shack (although it will be warm enough tomorrow to not need it), so we will be fishing from the ice shack -- likely with the doors open. Dragging my shack back up the face of the dam at Lost Creek is an opportunity that I would prefer to pass on. Is the road plowed across the dam, and what is the access like down the road to the lake that is across the dam? If anyone is interested in joining us we have room in the Suburban for one more adult, or one adult and a child.

Several vehicles including a few cars went over lost creek damn last weekend. It didn't look like much less work though. Suck it up my friend and enjoy the pain[].. The fishing was well worth it.

I am still as to where to take my 3 year old grandson. Lost Creek may be the spot. I wanted to take him to Rockport, but I don't see the ice being safe for him.
I will have my radio on channel 12 and will call where ever I go to see who else is there. DKS.
