I got out on the pond yesterday with a neighbor of mine. We fished over by the south inlet around the reed bank with worms. The gills and bass couldn't stay off her line! In the hour and a half or so we were out there she caught 15 blues and 2 bass. None were monsters, but she had fun anyway. She probly had double the fish on that she caught. I managed 3 of the littlest rainbows I have ever seen there. They couldn't have been over 7" long. I did have one trout on that looked larger than 14" before he poped off. The "W" sucked badly. It was hard to get the poles out. It sure did make for great drifting conditions, though.
The game wardens were out in full force. One hastled us because Carmen looked older than 14, but she's only 13. They wanted to give her a ticket! Then some kids by us said that a guy gave them a trout. Oh boy! They went over and ticketed him. I guess ignorance of the law is no excuse, though.
