Fished Fish Lake with a couple buddies on Saturday from about 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Fished on the north east side of the lake. Thanks to all on the board who let me know 4-wheeler conditions last friday, we rode the wheeler the 1/2 mile over to the other side and it was great, didn't even break a sweat. Fishing was hot the whole time until about 12:30 and then it slowed down. Together we caught 40-50 fish. Mostly splake, but a few rainbows. Largest fish was a 18" splake. No macs or perch caught (we were fishing in 55-70 ft of water). They were hitting everthing (tube jigs, crickets, paddles, kastmaster, etc..), as long as it was tipped with either a meal worm or piece of perch. -1 degree on arrival, but quickly warmed up to be a beatiful sunny day. No wind at all! One of the best winter fishing days of the year, but I'm done with the small fish, I'll be hitting the berry next.
