Well hit lincoln beach today and when i got out there the weather was nice a slight breeze and there was a few boats out there to.Started out at the 2nd springs and the white bass were biting but they were small ones so i swithced to a larger lure. I didnt see any of the boats land any fish and none of the people on shore except for 1l eye about 18inches and that was it! But it was a nice day anyway felt good to get out .I probably will hit LB again sometime this week after work![laugh]

Thanks for the update Ocean, have you tried any curly tailed jigs when fishing the springs?

Ocean, you mentioned boats at Lincoln!? How deep is the dock area? Is it deep enough to unload and load and safe navigating out of the harbor?

I think we need some warm weather to get the eyes going. When the days get longer I want to take my tube down after work and do some fishing. I have never caught a walleye out of Utah lake, what is a good color of lure/jig to use on the lake? I have cought tons of walleye at Starvation on rapalas, how do they work at Utah Lake. Thanks for the report.

The boats didnt seem to have any problems launching. The water is higher than it was last fall!So that helps.

I was using curly tail jigs and they were getting smacked by the small white bass.I used green and white tipped with a worm. Then i switched to a bigger size so the small ones couldnt swallow it.

Ocean, that is very good news for me to hear. Won't you tell me the size of the biggest boat seen clearing the harbor? This would give me a good idea of the water's depth inside the harbor. Thank you very much!

The one boat that was fishing in front of the springs was at least 16feet.There were some others far away that seemed about the same size or bigger.Hope this helps.
