Deer Creek Ice?

Lake X is ice over but haven't heard any news about Deer Creek.

Anyone have the good - cold- hard - latest conditions?

i too have been woundering the water condition at Deer Creek maybe we can get Fish boy 2 to post up he saved our bacon last time i went up there ! i was woundering the launching conditions also if it is not iced up ! i feel guilty almost with all this modern technology , it makes a guy feel lazy , ya used to have to just drive up there and take the fly rod just incase it was froze over not that it ever got used . if it was froze over there was no way in hell i was going to freeze on the river [blush] so off to chalet cafe for some coffee we went and talked about fishing , it was a lot warmer ..[]

Chalet Cafe? Isn't that the one on Provo River in the Provo Canyon? If that is what you're referring to, well it's not there anymore, they tore it down to build a four-lane hwy through the canyon. Sorry to disappoint you, just in case if you didn't know.

But thanks for bringing it up, I have memories of that place.

yes ,it is the won that was tore down to widen the road . i was just refering to the good old days when it was still there . i spent many of mornings in there slurping down gallons of coffee .. waiting to see if it was going to warm up or snow some more!

Saw a couple of guys fishing Deer Creek on Monday. Unfortunately,They were fishing from the shore. No safe Ice.
