Crankbait dreams!

Have you ever had a really good crankbait that caught so many fish the paint got knoced off it?

What about when a manufacturer comes out with a crank but they just dont have the color you want?

Sucks huh?

Well, not any more![sly]

I finally found a guy who is skilled with an airbrush and is making some custom colors for me.

I really wanted this color on a rapala DT.

Dark green back, chartreuse sides, and a brown belly.
But since rapala doesnt make it, I had to go somewhere else.

Soon that black and silver crank will be another color.

I will have to post the pics when I get the new ones back.

Got a question,

What can you put on a crankbait to keep it from getting all scratched up,the rapalas hold up great,the producers finish really is poor,is there any kind of clear coat you could spray on a new one to keep it looking new for awhile.
