Utah Lake/ Pumps

Went fishing with my dad last night to Utah Lake. I really wanted to catch a walleye but no luck there. My dad had one one but it flipped off at shore and swam free. I ended up catching one white bass and a crappie. The weather was great and it was fun but I still need that walleye.

Thanks for going fishing with me son!!! It was fun. I hope we can get in alot of fishing trips this summer. They are not pumping water out of the Lake into the Jordan River so the River is almost dry in alot of places. I have never seen the River that low!!! I was using a small white jig tipped with a piece of worm to hook the Walleye. He was about 18" long.

Just wait till agriculture gets going in the spring and they need that water for crops - -you'll see just how fast they start draining the life outta Utah Lake. :-(
