I was wanting to announce the return of my neighbor back from iraq. He is a marine and has been there over 3 years. His parents are going to suprise him with a parade and the Hyrum and Paradise fire departments are giving him a ride home. His family is planning on lining the road from hyrum to paradise with as many people as she can to welcome him home.
If you live up there in the valley and would like to participate and show your support for the marines it would greatly appreciated if you showed up in hyrum at the Mtn crest at 11:30 on satruday morning and take your places to usher him home. I'm sure he would appreciate the support.
thanks DZ

We all have a lot of fun fishing and taking about fishing on BFT, but you just cannot say enough about the endless gratitude we should all feel for our men and women in the armed forces. A beautiful, free nation where we enjoy many public lands and waters, where we can come and go as we please, is kept that way by them.
I know that a few folks have expressed disagreement with the Iraq War, but I say that whatever your opinions are, once our president sends us to war we all need to stand up and support our brave men and women in every way we possibly can. . . and thank God every day that they are willing to put their lives on the line for the rest of us.
Dan, make sure you tell your friend just how much we all appreciate his service. Welcome home indeed!

I would like to express my thanks to all who serve now and all who have served in the past. Me and my gratefull family thank you all. Dz
please let your neighbor see this thread for those of us who won't make it up to the parade. Infact all who have or know someone in the service let them see this thread so they might see the support we are gratefull to give. They are all the reason this is a great country to live in.

Glad they made it home. I have a couple of good friends that are in the services. One flew medivac in Afganistan and the other is deploying in a couple of months for Iraq to run supply convoys. By the time this is all over, I think everyone of us will be connected to it somehow. Even here on BFT we have had folks come and go.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you serving and home. The war isn't over for many of these heros once they return. They need our support more than ever!
THANKYOU TO OUR ARMED SERVICES!
