Flaming Gorge bows

Went to the gorge on saturday fishing for rainbows. Two of us caught a dozen, couple of 2.5 pounders. It was cold and breezy so I think the fish were a little lazy. All were caught on green jigs from the bank. Squaw hollow was the best fishing, we also caught a 22 inch mack on a worm and marshmallow there. We also tried Sheep creek and caught a few, not many people fishing. For those wondering about the reciprocal stamps and parking passes, you can get both at the Maverick store in Mt. View.

We had crawlers and meal worms, they seemed to like the crawlers better.We tried several different colors, nothing doing except on dark green or chartreuse.
