[cool]Sunday, fishing with the Larry Worley party 12 miles off Naples with shrimp & shiners, we caught king mackerel to 35 inches, keeper lane snapper & triggerfish, Spanish mackerel to 20 inches, and throw-back red & gag grouper to 19 inches. Fishing Monday with Albert Trutmann, using shiners in the same location, in 32 feet, we caught nine king mackerel to 36 inches, large Spanish mackerel to 26 inches, and jacks (which became goliath grouper bait.) We had fun fighting a goliath until he escaped into a hole. Fishing again with Albert on Thursday, this time at the artificial reefs off Bonita Beach with shrimp & large thread herrings, we got a keeper 23 inch gag grouper. We released snapper, as well as jack cravalle to 8 lbs. Friday, we fished with Terry Hopkins & Lyle Wagner, 8 miles off the Ritz Carlton in north Naples. We caught a 32 inch king.
