[cool][#0000ff]Thanks, Ted. I was planning to pick up a couple of Cougars, but we are leaning more toward the Trout Unlimited Colorado at this time.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]I like the low profile of the Cougar, but I can get Cougars for $349 at Sam's Club, and their rear deck setup seems superior to me. A lot stronger setup for carrying a battery and extra gear, and the motor mount is adjustable...unlike the fixed center position of the Cougar. The Cougar is also only 8', whereas the Colorado is 9', which makes it okay to fish on moving water, in states where there are those restrictions. Mind you, I don't plan to run rivers with mine, but the extra margin of flotation and safety is always good.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]I haven't heard any negative reports from anyone who owned either of those craft. They are both well made.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]By the way, for anyone who lives near a Sportsmans Warehouse, they have the Cougar at lower prices too. They were only $459 for awhile last year, but are now about the same as the price Dryrod found online.[/#0000ff]
