Laker's in willow park pond?
#1
Anyone caught any of the lake trout that were planted in willow park pond the first week of march? CBR's webpage (DWR stocking report) shows about 300 twenty-four incher's were put in there.

Craig has caught a few on super dupers, and I have seen a few littered about the lake dead on the shore, but to date have not caught one myself yet.

I thought I had gone crazy when I thought I had seen some macs in Farmington pond a few years ago. Now some proof that I wasn't just seeing things. How long would lakers survive in a small pond like farmington or willow park? I have heard that farmington pond is nearly 80 feet deep, maybe some macs could reside there for quite a while (providing they don't get caught).

I have caught a couple of them on a small fly. They are very skinny. I don't think there is much for a laker to eat in Willow pond.

I have gone to willow 3 times in the last few months to try and target the lakers. 2 times I have been skunked but a couple of days before last christmas I ran into a bunch of them and caught 5 in one hour. They put them in there to eat all the goldfish and other crap fish that people dump in the pond.
