Willard 05-04-05
#1
Finally a couple of nice warm days in a row. Willard must be ready to turn on! I fished the sw corner in my tube from 6:00 PM until dark. I was "trolling" with one rod rigged for wipers with a pearl 3" Storm Wildeye curly tail minnow, and the other rod rigged for walleye with a small spin-n-glo & crawler harness below a 1/2 oz snag free sinker. I have had good success with this combo setup in the past.

Well, it was a perfectly lovely evening for paddling around on the pond, watching the sunset, and swatting at skeeters. I got a good workout and marked lots of fish on my finder, but never got bit once.

Sounds like Utah Lake is still the hot spot...
