i went fishing recently at sunset pond, i was pleasently suprised because it made me feel as if i was in the mountains fishin, this pond is a very fun pond i had a blast catchin the sunfish one after another, later in the day i found that the good ol' power bait worked great for trout. we did pretty good and found that this community pond was an exellent get away, i loved the wildlife sounds and the trash was at a miniumum, every thing was great exept i saw something that dumfounded me, i saw a girl probably around 12 throwing something out of a plastic bag into the pond, eventually my couriosity got the best of me and i checked it out, and to my suprise this girl was throwing sunfish back into the pond, and there had to have been at least 10 or 12 fish in these bags. and i got to wondering what would posses a person to do that, hopefully the fish were originaly from the pond (even though that doesnt justify it) because transporting live fish could result in a heafty fine. i plan on returning soon and maybe catching the fish flingin freak again, and if i do ill call an ol' DWR buddy and have him come check it out, all in all it was a great day and i had a blast. o and i also fell in the pond on accident wich resulted in 10 freezing digits and a soaked pair of shoes and pants.
