Echo 5-7-05

We went to Echo today. Fished the east side from 10:30 till 2. We caught 2 carp and 1 rainbow measuring 2 lbs, 18'' long. We had another large rainbow break off right at shore, and 2 other big bites break off further out. My daughter caught a rather large carp, and for a minute I wasn't quite sure who was winning. Fortunately she and her tweety bird pole had the honors of catching the biggest fish of the day. pretty exciting for a seven year old! Seems like carp and trout alike were biting on worms and power bait.

Thanks for the report. I have been wondering about Echo. You have got to love the look on kids faces when they get that fish.
