3M and I rode out late Sunday afternoon and slid the dinker in near marker 20. After slow pulling for big K's for two hours we'd only had two decent pick ups and missed both. Just before dark we got desperate so we tried setting still and drifting cut bait under bobbers witch turned the tables for 3M,, yet,, I still couldnt them when bit. Oh well, thats fishin'. [laugh]

Pat we used the old standards, perch, carp and crawler altho' the K's seem to prefer Crawler yesterday. The recent 2' waters areas at the hideout are now 4-5' so you wouldnt have to leg stroke out more than 100' to find the K's in 4' (at the spot). Most K's were caught between 2'-4' over the rockie bottom.. I was half tempted to flip for whitie but never found my round to it,lol.
As far as the flying hoards all I can suggest is to keep yer yap shut but some were being munched on the rise. No major sign of those pretty little 8 legged monsters (yet). But with all the new growth (in and out of the water) I'm sure they'll be coating the shoreline before long and ready to pack away any poor soul thats unaware,lol.. [signature]

For those unaware K's = Big Cats, not the common sized channel kittie in ut lake. Marker 20 means an area on Utah Lake I've been known to haunt/hunt/troll for K's from time to time. As far as the man with one red shoe walking at dawn. I have no clue what the reason would be, or the meaning of the saying, other than maybe its the only time he can get away with it, or, was at one bleep of a party the night before.. Personally, I would be caught dead in red shoes, one or other wise. [laugh] BTW Dink, yep I agree,, try Joe's Valley while in the Price area. There are some dandy Splake and Cuts in there.. 3M.. LOL, yep, watch those bleeps! Besides, those little monsters dont eat much until July-Oct... Whats more, they arent nearly as large as Rosy got! [laugh] [signature]
