I am staying at hideout for 3 nights over the weekend and am planning on fishing mostly for kokes. I Have never really caught one on purpose just one here or there on accident trolling. The only thing I know is to use bright colors and look for schools. If anyone can help me out I could use some hints on where to find them in the hideout and sheep creek area and also how deep they might be. Also what to use besides pop gear and wedding rings would help. PM me.

i have to agree that sokeyslayer is the guy who is doing real good right now. check out the doug miller show this week. i believe they are running a show that they taped last week with "sockeyslayer" and gary mirales of shasta tackle. ive been using some shasta tackle lately and have done real well for kokes and bows. dont leave your wedding rings home, though! a pop gear wedding ring combo can get really hot at times! (especially if your pop gear has any blue beads on it) good luck, ill be up there on memorial day weekend! looking very forward to it.
