Fishing Saratgoa
#1
Ok

I havent fished Saratoga for years. I hear that you can launch over there now. Question is where to go once you launch. I suspect its still very shallow and very muddy ?

Kevin havent you heard, the waters coming up so fast it wont be long before the lake will be as crystal clear as Willard Bay! [laugh][laugh][laugh]

Catfishbait; Should have plenty of water to lauch but use caution. If yer talkin' kitties work the reed bed areas. Anchor up in 3' or 4' of water and fish the 2'-3' depths.. If I was launching from Saratgoa I'll work the north shore lnes near the water inlets or off Pelican point.. Good luck!
And oh yeah,, Welcome aboard!

I was bassin' around in there and it is plenty deep in the harbor. There are boats coming and going out of there. Last week it was four to five feet in the middle of the harbor, but I imagine it will be now 6 feet with all this water running to the lake. You will be fine with your boat in there unless its an ocean liner...[laugh]
